About Rev. Yohannes Nahuway

Rev. Yohannes Nahuway, M.Th has served as Senior Pastor of GBI Mawar Saron since February 25, 2021, continuing the pastoral ministry of his late father, Rev. Dr. Jacob Nahuway, M.A., who went home to be with the Lord on February 2, 2021.

Currently, Rev. Yohannes is entrusted to serve as the Head of the Evangelism Department of the Bethel Church of Indonesia Synod for the 2023–2027 period. He also serves as a Board Member of Church Growth International and the Asia Christian Leaders Summit, and as a leader within the Asia Missions Association. Rev. Yohannes is actively involved in many mission activities both in Indonesia and abroad.

Having been active in ministry since 1999, participating in numerous networks and events nationally and internationally, and pursuing studies in China and the United States, he brings a wide vision and experience as a pastor. Under his leadership, GBI Mawar Saron continues to grow and develop as a blessing for Indonesia and the nations.

Rev. Yohannes is married to Silka Dermawan, and together they are blessed with three sons: Jaden, Jethro, and Jeremias.
